THE BIG, BOLD B-20 REVOLUTIONIZED THE BAND SAWMILL BUSINESS!
Our Classic and still Best-Selling mill!
We built the first one-man sawmill back in 1929. When band sawmills
began to replace circle mills back in the 80’s, we carried on
our tradition of raw strength, rugged dependability, and top quality
with the introduction of the B-20 – the best choice bandmill.
The B-20 was the first portable bandmill equipped with crucial features
like hydraulic chain log turners and hydraulic vertical log stops,
features that only now — 20 years later — have been adopted
by other brands. TimberKing was the first company to introduce a computer
setworks as standard equipment. We were the first company to add hydraulic
roller toe boards, standard side-wind leveling jacks and many other
features too numerous to mention.
The B-20 continues to set the standard for full-scale professional
mills. It’s the ONLY mill that gives you all this: 4-Post Cutting
Head, fully-welded all-steel deck, full hydraulics for speed and convenience,
stationary command post, transportation package standard, best guarantee
and warranty in the industry, and much more.

B-20 Q&A:
Q: Why is the B-20 your best-selling mill?
A: The B-20
is our original band mill design so it’s been out there longer than our other mills — long
enough to become the standard for professional sawyers. Though the
B-20 is not our largest
mill, it offers more features for less money than any other brand.
Q: Are full hydraulics necessary?
A: If your blade isn’t in the wood, you’re not
making money. Hydraulic features mean you spend less time handling logs and more
time sawing them. At the end of the day that means more money in your pocket.
Q: This is a big mill! Can I take it into the woodlot?
A: Sometimes the logs come to you, but far
more frequently, sawyers have to go where the trees grow. The B-20 is a true
professional machine, built to handle the steepest, most rugged logging roads
imaginable and retain its trueness – thanks to the 4-Post Cutting Head
and welded steel deck. Protected hydraulic lines means there’s no need
to worry about damage from over-hanging branches and limbs when you’re
pulling your mill into a tight spot.
Q: Will the B-20 pay for itself?
A: This is a big, serious mill with lots of“guts” and tons of cutting capacity. That makes it a perfect mill
for serious sawyers. Typically, B-20 customers use their machines in some money-making
venture (like turning out saleable lumber) or money-saving operation (like cutting
all the lumber for a home they’re building). Numerous customers over the
years have written and called to tell us their B-20 mill has paid for itself
many times over.
