2400 Q&A:
Q: What’s the difference between the B-20 and the 2400?
A: The differences
boil down to capacity and
power. The B-20 will handle logs up to 34” in diameter, but this is a maximum
capacity. The 2400 is rated to handle logs 36” and beyond. That means the
2400’s cutting head will easily fit around 36” logs and it can handle
bigger material. The B-20’s standard motor is 25HP. This is plenty of power
for most professional sawing. But the 2400’s 49HP power plant puts much
more power and torque behind the blade. This allows for much faster cutting rates
and substantially higher daily production.
Q: How does the 2400 stack up against other mills in its class?
A: Like all TimberKing
mills, the 2400 is the
Value Leader of its class. 2400’s cutting throat is much larger than other
brands, meaning it can handle big logs more easily. 2400 comes standard with
